Use this Proactiv Solution Repairing Lotion every day - every morning and evening for best results. Remember that the efficiency secret is to use it twice a day and in combination with Step 1 & Step 2. Use it not only on your face, but on any blemish-prone area including chest, back, and buttocks.

Squeeze some of the Repairing Lotion on your palm, and then gently apply it onto your face with fingers or palms. Allow it to dry for at least two minutes. Do not rinse it off because Repairing Lotion has to penetrate deep into the pores to fight acne-causing bacteria. It needs time to perform its function. Plus, it looks great on skin adding a slight glow of a carefree youth to your face.

You may wear oil-free make-up after Repairing Lotion has dried off without being concerned that make-up particles will get deep into your clean pores - Repairing Lotion creates a breathable shield around the pores. It will start working on problem skin under oil-free makeup while you are taking care of your day.

Some people may prefer to complete all three steps in the morning or in the afternoon, keep the medication (Step 3) on for at least 20-30 minutes and wash everything off right before heading to work or applying make-up. This is less effective, but acceptable way. Instead, you may try to keep Repairing Lotion on for a few hours during the day, but do not keep it on for 20 straight hours. Your skin needs to get some rest and fresh air to heal itself and feel healthy. After a long day, it is very important to wash everything including make-up off your face to let it breathe freely. Remember to use all three steps of Proactiv Solution system again before going to sleep, but try do not wash it off until the morning - it is the best time for medication to penetrate deep into the skin and fight bacteria especially because skin produces less oil while you are sleeping and is more relaxed and responsive to topical remedies.

Avoid using the Repairing Lotion on sensitive areas around your eyes and on your lips. For sensitive skin, reduce application area.

If irritation and redness occur, wash the Repairing Lotion off with warm water, pet the skin dry and gently apply an oil-free moisturizer. If irritation persists, stop using all three steps and consult a doctor.
